I really love how the uniform's working out. I liked the redesign conceptually, but to be honest I was skeptical at first whether it would look Apollo-ish enough. Here, you've still managed to define his muscles and the fact that he's a big, potentially-scary guy (who's having the time of his life) without his usual peep show.

Also, that expression? Midnighter is so getting laid today, isn't he?

GAH SO PRETTY! Seriously, your colouring is as perfect as your lineart.

Also, um, last night I started colouring your card on the computer cos I needed to take a break from watercolours cos I was getting paintbrush RSI and is that okay? It's not as good as this but like, er, yeah. THEY WERE JUST TOO PRETTY AND GOING, "Adora! You know you want to colour us!" and I was like, "Yes! I am but a mere human and you are pretty gay superheroes and therefore I am unable to resist!"

I already said how gorgeous this is. It is beautiful. It's powerful, despite what should be a vulnerable pose, and the gradient shading turned out lovely and effective. The edge of light highlighting the shadow is good, it adds somethign to the piece, a dimension it didn't have in the flat tone.

I love his new uniform. Er... hoe you don't mind, but the rp I'm in, he's going off to find someone to design him a uniform similar to this after a falling with Jeroen over 'everyone being able to see you're not Jewish in that thing'. I fell in love with this uniform. It's much more sensible and less 'I'm making you wear this because I'm a creepy pervy bendix'.

Yeah, you can tell it's good because I'm not the first one to mention the sungasm. I love that the theme is Power but recharging his power makes him look completely rapeable open.

Sungasm. The word I am now going to use every time I explain Apollo's recharging scenario ^_^

Makes sense, in a way. The only power stronger than his--he'd have to bottom be completely open and receptive to it.

Oh I know that expression, that feeling, I get that when I'm dancing. I feel all connected to Apollo now, only he worships the sun while I worship the boogy. :) I wonder if the sun pulses through him the same way. I really like his boots in this one, and his bottom is of course, completely squee worthy. Bravo.

I almost called this "Sun dance", because I thought the feeling Apollo might get from absorbing of the sun's light could be connected to the sort of 'in your own world' feeling some people get while dancing. Except that I also imagined him being completely stationary in midair, so that might've been inappropriate ^_^;; But yessssss, I love the connection!

This is amazing. I think it perfectly expresses Apollo's relationship to the sun: both master and servant to it, I think.

Plus, your above conversation about where the Midnighter is tanned is guaranteed to keep my mind in the gutter all night long.
